Superman and Tsunami are part of the compulsory program at every Red Bull X-Fighters event. How both tricks work and what a Stale Fish and a Whip is? The fourth and last part of our tricktionary explains …
STALE FISH
The Stale Fish is yet another modification of an already existing trick. The Stale Fish Saran Wrap consists of sticking a leg through the arms and bringing the other leg out in front and on the outside of the arms. Sometimes a rider will add a Heel Clicker for extra points. A Stale Fish Fender Grab is performed by whipping the bike and taking a hand off, grabbing the back side of the back fender.
SUPERMAN
A Superman is performed when a rider lets go with both feet and kicks them straight back. The further away the rider gets from the bike, the higher the marks for execution.
SUPERMAN SEATGRAB
The rider lets go with one hand and grabs the seat - extending the legs back. For the Double Superman Seatgrab the rider lets go of both handles and slides/flies back to the seat, grabs on and flies behind the bike.
TSUNAMI
While keeping the bike horizontal and level, a handstand is done on the front handlebars.
WHIP
A Whip is when the rider whips the bike sideways in the air so that it comes as close to being sideways as possible. The bike then straightens out for the landing.
