At the Triathlon European Championships in Copenhagen Kate Allen won two silver medals within 24 hours: one in the individual and one in the relay competition. Quick reactions rather than endurance, however, were needed in the following word rap.
Happiness: Is what life revolves around.
Doubt: Means that I have to analyze a problem more intensively.
Rhythm: I have to find during the race, otherwise nothing works.
Olympic distance: My favorite at the moment.
European Championships: The happiest day I’ve had for a long time – at least to do with sport.
Copenhagen: A great city.
Last kilometers: A mental game.
Allen factor: A rumor – I’ve never experienced it.
Fate: I believe in it.
Winning: I love it.
Losing: Can’t stand it.
Finish line: No matter how far in front you are or how good you feel, the race isn’t run until you cross it.
Beijing World Cup: For me, the most important race this year because I expect to get valuable information for the Olympics.
Weakness: I focus on my strengths, not on my weaknesses.
Competitors: Without them, there’s no race.
Chocolate: Pure indulgence, don’t think of it as a sin.
Motivation: Whatever you do, you always have to have a goal.
“Little Athletics”: One of my nicest childhood memories. I was four when I first took part in them.
Ironman: Damn tough.
Potential: You have to believe in yourself to recognize what you’ve got.
Courage: If you want to get to the top, you need a whole lot of it.
Limits: Everyone has them ... but I don’t actually let things limit me from achieving my goals.
Perfect day: Don’t know if that exists ...
